Mr. Ronald Monroe

Mr. Ronald Monroe

I feel incredibly honored to begin my 15th year as principal of King George Elementary School. As a family of learners, I look forward to each day of greeting my scholars and encouraging them to do their very best. King George County can be proud of the great things happening at King George Elementary. It is our intent to provide a learning environment that identifies individual student needs and creates learning opportunities whereby all students can succeed and become independent thinkers. During this school year, I look forward to working with you, your child, the KGES family, and our community stakeholders. Our mission here at KGES is to foster independent learners. To achieve this goal, we all need to work together to engage, support, and maintain a safe school environment. Maintaining communication between home and school is the key to continuous student achievement and involvement.
Should you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at 540-775-5411. My door is always open and you are welcome to stop by to visit.

I am happy to be serving the King George Elementary School community as your Assistant Principal.  Education is all about the relationships we foster, and I look forward to forging positive relationships will all the students, teachers, and families within our school.

Before arriving here at KGES, I began my career in education as a King George teacher, and then had experiences as an administrator in Westmoreland County and at Colonial Beach Schools.  I am here to listen to you, and also to partner with you to ensure the growth and development of all of our students.
