King George Elementary School qualifies as a School-Wide Title I School. 

As a Title I School we do the following:

• Create a School-Wide Title I Plan
• Host 2 Family Engagement/Information events each year
• Provide Parent Handbooks
• Use Title I funds to purchase reading and math intervention resources

Title I is intended to help:

• Increase academic achievement
• Provide instructional support to students
• Promote parent education and involvement
